Charles McKinney-Vice President

Charles has worked in higher education over many years at state universities in Missouri, CA and FL. His areas of interests are enrollment management educational administration and conflict management. After serving at the University of California at Santa Barbara for about twenty years in student services he moved to Florida where he worked at Florida Gulf University as an assistant to the President until June 2009. Charles has a BS degree from University of Arkansas (AM&N) in Business Administration, M.ED, School Administration, Lincoln University of Missouri, MBA, Policy and Administration, University of Washington, a Doctor of Education degree in Missouri-Columbia and Certificate in Educational Management from Institute of Educational Management at Harvard University. 

Charles serves on a number of boards of directors including his local church, other religious and nonprofit organizations like Arts in CT Corporation. He is past national president of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers. Charles has presented professional papers on a range of topics relation to effective communication in the work place, valuing and celebrating diversity and dimensions of professional development in higher education.

Barbara Alexander- Director

Babs Alexander is a music teacher, director, actress, entrepreneur and mentor. She has directed over 100 plays, performed in over 20 shows, performed in 38 states, 5 countries and can sing in 5 different languages. She has a passion to help everyone from babies to adults. She is the owner of Tutors 4 Teachers Certification LLC, Performing Arts in CT LLC, and founder of Arts in CT Corps.

Barbara has a bachelors in Music Education and pursuing her Masters of Arts in Leadership completing March of 2019.

She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Milford Chamber of Commerce, Milford Arts Council, Greater New Haven Arts Council, National Association of Education and former member of National Association for Music Education, the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield, and The Alliance of Hartford. She is the president of the board at Arts in CT.

Chaz Gaines-Treasurer

Chaz Gaines is the Business Development and Customer Solutions Specialist for The Milford Bank. Chaz meets with clients and determine the appropriate financial products to meet their needs. He will also be responsible for seeking out and expanding new business portfolios for The Milford Bank. Chaz has over 8 years of experience in financial services. He holds Bachelor of Science in Finance from Central Connecticut State University. Additionally, he is a Certified Mortgage Originator.

In his spare time, Gaines likes cycling, woodworking, and playing sports. He and his wife, Jennifer, live in Stratford, CT with their new born son, Cameron.

Chandra D Gioiello-Secretary

Chandra Deeds Gioiello has a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Franklin and Marshall College and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene from University of New Haven.  She is vice president of a small consulting firm – Industrial Health & Safety Consultants.  Chandra is a registered Safety Data Sheet and Label Author and a Certified Industrial Hygienist.  She specializes in international hazard communication regulations.  She regularly helps clients navigate the regulations across the globe, especially the Asia-Pacific countries.  She is active with the Society of Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.  She helped create the SDS and Label Author registry for AIHA and is a member of the subject matter expert team. She serves on the Board of Directors of the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH.)  She previously served as the chair of the SCHC Social Media Committee and spearheaded their social media expansion.


Dale Marrow-Sargeant at Arms

In addition to being a published author and an accomplished chef, Dale Morrow has over twenty years experience as a manager and executive in corporate America. 
He has worked for several Fortune 50 companies, including Home Depot, Starbucks and AT&T.
 Though he is passionate about the Arts in general, his is particularly fond of theater and music and enjoys attending his two youngest son’s concerts and plays.
 He and his wife of twenty seven years live in Orange, CT with their three boys, Dale’s father and their yellow lab mix.
